no buying shoes at Kohl's, just slap your hand now!

I like my brooks a lot, but umm I'm a female so I don't know how much help i am really

I also prefer Asics, but in an effort to rotate shoes while marathon training, I've always used Brooks as my second pair. In fact, two of my three marathons were run in a pair of Brooks. They make a great shoe.

you're the second person i've heard with the same story of trouble involving the retrieval of free shoes. i'm pretty sure the other person had the same exact trouble with the same people who were giving him free shoes for the same type of ad.

    Hey Topher,
I had a pair of the 1060, got over 600 miles out of them, and just recently replaced them with a pair of 1062's, which so far I'm liking very much and will run a marathon in here in SLC in 4 weeks. HOWEVER... None of the above are STABILITY shoes. They are all Neutral-Cushioned shoes, a la Asics Nimbus, Brooks Dyad or Glycerin, etc.

So... if you need a stability shoe, try again. :) Run long.

What were you thinking when you said you might buy shoes at Kohl's? Now come on, I look to you for guidence, but how can I if you are going to buy running shoes from Kohls?

Runners Warehouse is fantastic. Even international!

I have three girls that run track and cross country, very seriously and they are always looking for the "perfect" shoe....I guess we should stop looking at Kohl's :)

What is a stability shoe and why would you want one?

    Signed,
A very uninformed and neglecting mom in New England :)
